This course is about using Personal Computers (IBM PC's). Ironically, in order to take this course you must use computers, the reason you are taking this class in the first place. This makes it a true "learn-by-doing" course. Since technology is at the center of this course, some (most?)of you will encounter a varity of challenges (problems). Many of these will probably not be your fault, but here are a few things to be aware of and to consider.
Is the course for you?
There have been a few instances in the past where students felt that perhaps they should not have taken this course. Unfortunately they waited until the end of the semester to come to that conclusion. I list my phone number and email address. There is NO EXCUSE for not contacting me at once when problems occur.
